The last year has proven to be a whirlwind of activity. I have had solo and group exhibitions, changed jobs, moved to the Northwest, received awards and honorable mentions, had work published, and life is wonderful!

The Perspective Photo Gallery’s exhibition LENS 2013 will show my image “Matches” this coming March. It was selected by Karen Irvine, Curator and Associate Director of the Museum of Contemporary Photography (MoCP) at Columbia College Chicago.
My piece “Remembering,” has been selected for the Joyce Elaine Grant Photography Exhibition in Denton, Texas this coming February and March. The juror was Sarah Kennel, Associate Curator in the Department of Photographs at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
My first solo exhibition of the year is at Ohio University’s Southern campus in Ironton, Ohio. The opening will be this Thursday, January 24 from 6:00-8:00pm. Publicity materials will be posted once I have some, while having some products in the shop as well thanks to a Shop Front Company that allow me to create the perfect shop for this.

Since I have updated this. Over the summer of 2012 I had much success with my work. The most noteworthy is Center Forward – a traveling exhibit. It originated at the Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, CO, then made its way to the Denver International Airport, and this summer will be shown at the RayKo Photo Center in San Francisco, CA. My work was also selected for an honorable mention.
One of my new pieces has been selected to show in the 2012 Juried Exhibition at the Newspace Center for Photography. The show will be on view from July 6 – July 29 in Portland, Oregon. The juror for the exhibit was Laura Moya, the Executive Director for PhotoLucida.
My new work will be featured during the Cream of the Crop exhibition that opens June 15 and runs through August at the Southern Ohio Museum in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Prepping and getting work ready to ship to the Midwest Center for Photography. Five of my new images have been selected for a possible fellowship for developing work. Fingers crossed!

My work has been selected to be featured in the 2012 Joyce Elaine Grant Photography Exhibition at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. The exhibition dates are February 21 – March 28, 2012. The juror is Anne Lyden, Associate Curator in the Department of Photographs at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, California.
